After Windows 10 updates, I discovered that, the search box on the task bar was NOT working. I couldn't search anything from this box.

There are plenty of reasons why the search box may have issues in Windows 10. But for me, the below fix did the trick.

Fix the Language Bar to Retrieve the Windows Search Box:

In the Run box,

Press Win + R (to open Run command)
In the Run box, type "C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe" and hit Enter.
It brings back the language bar and for me it allowed me to type in windows search, start menu and WINDOWS 10 apps again

Alternatively

Open File Explorer and navigate to the following location:
C:\Windows\system32Inside the directory, search for ctfmon.exe.
Right-click on ctfmon.exe and click Open.

When you restart it may stopped working again, just create a task to run this program every time you start the windows and you are good to go.

My laptop screen started going upside down and mouse traveled up. When the issue was occasional, I used the quick keystroke Ctrl-Alt-up arrow" combination to resolve the issue.

Permanent Fix:

Of late, the issue happened to me very often. Sometimes it goes upside down on every click on desktop.

To solve this permanently, I enabled "Rotation Lock" in Display Settings (Windows 8.x to 10)

Tip:

If the screen upside down is caused by accidentally hitting keys on the keyboard, use this simple process: If you hold down the CTRL and the ALT key and hit the up arrow that will straighten your screen out.

Happy troubleshooting.
